Sponsorship is what keeps Festivals alive

It is a special kind of giving that reaches out and shares its results with many satisfied people:  the audience who are able to enjoy a memorable concert or other event and of course the artists themselves.  It could be a well established artist sharing his talent or it could be someone just starting out on an exciting career who is given the opportunity to perform.  This is all in addition to the pleasure received by the Sponsor’s guests as they enjoy the benefit of best seats to the performance. Equally important it is your opportunity as a Sponsor to use this as a marketing tool.

The Ryedale Festival has the good fortune of being staged at some superb venues in beautiful surroundings.  Just some of these are –  the long gallery at Castle Howard, the saloon at Duncombe Park, the library at Sledmere House, the Riding School at Hovingham Hall and the magnificent Ampleforth Abbey.  These, together with many other charming buildings, make the Ryedale Festival a cornucopia of delightful choices. In all we perform in as many as 27 venues throughout Ryedale from stately homes to intimate churches.  See venues link for the complete listing for this Festival.

We are able to offer special entertaining facilities at many of these venues.

The opportunity of being a sponsor to such an occasion and reaching a wide community gives great satisfaction as well as giving the sponsor’s name a high profile.

We are grateful to our sponsors for their generosity in supporting the Ryedale Festival.

Sponsorship to the Ryedale Festival comes in three categories : -

  • Principal Sponsorship
Principal sponsorship is available at over £50,000 and allows total “branding” of the whole Festival, including brochure, souvenir programme book and all media advertising.
  • Single Event Sponsor
Sponsorship related to a single event at the listed price carries a credit on the event and promotional material as “event sponsor”. If the amount is in excess of £5,000 then the credit will be as “major sponsor”.
  • Sponsor
Part or shared sponsorship will be credited in advertising of concert and programme book as “sponsor”.
The Festival can also consider partnership funding whereby two or more parties sponsor one event, sharing the costs and benefits from as low as £1,000 to £10,000.

Sponsorship rates quoted are exclusive of VAT

The Festival has an excellent choice of venues at which opportunities for corporate entertainment are generally available before the concert as well as during the interval. The Festival will assist the Sponsor in the organisation of the hospitality if required. Costs of hospitality are for the account of the sponsor

FINANCIAL SUPPORT is essential to the Festival as without it we could not put on the programme that we do each year. Whilst it has been the practice in the past to aim at sole sponsorship of each event we recognise that this is not always possible so we encourage sponsors and financial supporters to share the burden. This often means allocating joint sponsors names BUT it is all done by prior agreement so we ask that you recognise that sole sponsorship is only possible if it is at the commensurate level.

Suggested sole support for individual performances ranges from £10,000 for the opera with ensemble and chamber concerts from £2,500 to £10,000 for other events.   As previously stated joint sponsorship at lesser levels is an ideal opportunity to share the burden, help the Festival and give exposure to sponsors.

Support for the daytime coffee concerts, lectures and other events ranges from £500 to £2,000 and at all times we are open to any suggestions you may wish to make as there are also opportunities to give the Festival “in kind” support which can be suitably recognised.

Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements and be assured every effort will be made to meet your needs.

We have an exciting programme and we can create opportunities for you to achieve your objectives by supporting this wonderful Festival of music in the magnificent setting of North Yorkshire and Ryedale in particular.
