Andrew Kennedy studied at King’s College, Cambridge and the Royal College of Music in London, and has won numerous prizes and awards including the BBC Singer of the World Rosenblatt Recital Prize 2005, the Handel Competition in 2002 and the Song Prize in the 2003 Richard Tauber Competition. Andrew is is a BBC New Generation Artist and was a member of the former Vilar Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera, Covent Garden. His meteroric rise has seen him singing roles with English National Opera and Glyndebourne Touring Opera and performing with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Scottish SO, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra – the list goes on. A wonderful young musician – do not miss this.
