Mozart Clarinet quintet MacMillan Tuireadh Brahms Clarinet quintet

Brahms’s clarinet quintet, a piece which is both virtuosic and intimate, is paired in this concert with Mozart’s sublime work, one of his most popular, and a haunting lament by James MacMillan. This concert will be presented at the recently-opened Sandburn Hall; the performance will take place in a beautifully designed hall with a magnificent backdrop. The restaurant will be open for dinner before the concert. The Aronowitz Ensemble, led by Magnus Johnston, is one of the best young chamber groups around – certain to be a highlight of the Festival.
