Exaudi, resident for the first three days of the Festival, is a young ensemble which has recently been winning many plaudits for its ‘hair’s-breadth accuracy’ (The Times) and versatility. A sumptuous programme of spiritual works, Mystery and Revelation explores music in honour of the Virgin Mary by composers from the middle ages to the present day. This is an ensemble to watch!
