Born in Moscow, Katya has been a prizewinner at numerous competitions, and has performed with the London Philharmonic, Hallé, City of Birmingham Symphony and Philharmonia Orchestras and all over the world. She is a vivid interpreter of the works of Debussy and is without doubt ‘a very fine artist indeed whose future career should be closely followed’ (Musical Opinion).
