King's Camerata - Pupils from Kirkham Henry Performing Arts

Mozart Divertimento in D K.334 Mahler arr. Schoenberg Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen Saint Saëns Carnival of the Animals

The King’s Camerata, a chamber orchestra founded a decade ago at Cambridge, is made up of some of the finest young orchestral musicians in the country and is the resident ensemble of Eastern Opera. The idyllic surroundings of Botton Village, high up in the Moors, present an ideal opportunity for a picnic before or after this afternoon concert, which will be given in the comfortable and well-appointed hall. Saint-Saëns’s ever-popular Carnival will be brought to life by pupils from Kirkham Henry Performing Arts.
