Bach’s monumental motets Singet dem Herren and Jesu, meine Freude are coupled with Giacomo Carissimi’s emotionally charged oratorio Jepthe, the final chorus of which is some of the most heart-wrenching music ever written.

Performed by eight solo voices and continuo, this music will suit the atmospheric surroundings of Old Malton Priory perfectly.
