A mysterious map, a strange journey, a magical castle in a forest of thorns and an impossible decision feature in this contemporary reworking of he story of the Sleeping Beauty. On the eve of his wedding a young man is sent on a quest. A journey by train, through deserted streets and down river brings him to a palace where everyone has slept for centuries. To kiss and awake the past, or to return to a mundane life? Our hero’s choice leads to a cataclysmic climax and an unconventional marriage.
