Ryedale District Council supports the Ryedale Festival.

The Ryedale Festival has again made arrangements for a Festival Bus Service to be available for the 2009 Festival.

The bus will operate during three events and provide
transport to and from the market towns of Helmsley,
Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Malton as follows:

Monday 20th July
Missa in Tempore Belli / Ampleforth Abbey (event 10)

Wednesday 22nd July
Coffee Concert 2 / Galtres Centre Easingwold (event 13)

Sunday 26th July
Zimbe! Workshops 2 / Joan of Arc Hall, Botton Village
(event 26)

Ticket holders wishing to avail themselves of any, some or all of these buses need to phone RYECAT, the bus provider, on 01653 699059, indicating from which town you wish to travel and which of the above performances you wish to attend.

All buses will have up to three flexible collection points for each town as best suit the traveling patrons in collaboration with the driver. All buses will be scheduled to arrive at all events 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. The return departure time will be as soon as all booked passengers are boarded or 15 minutes after the end of the performance, whichever is the earlier.

The cost per person return will be £3 for each event and should be paid to the driver.
