The conductor and musicoligist Denis McCaldin is Professor Emeritus at Lancaster University and Director of the Haydn Society of Great Britain. He will examine Haydn’s role as Music Director to the Eszterházy family and introduce the evening’s performance of Philemon und Baucis.
