Ryedale District Council supports the Ryedale Festival.

The Ryedale Festival has again made arrangements for a Festival Bus Service to be available for the 2010 Festival.

This will operate during four events and provide transport to and from the market towns of Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Malton as follows:

Monday 19th July
Catrin Finch / Sledmere House (event 11)

Friday 23rd July
Goodbye to all that / Sledmere House (event 21)

Tuesday 27th July
Triple Concert / Castle Howard (event 33)

Wednesday 28th July,
Family Concert / Botton Village (event 34)

Ticket holders wishing to avail themselves of any, some, or all of these buses need to phone RYECAT, the bus provider, on 01653 699059, indicating from which town you wish to travel and which of the above performances you wish to attend.

All buses will have up to three flexible collection points for each town as best suit the travelling patrons in collaboration with the driver. All buses will be scheduled to arrive at all events 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance.

The return departure time will be as soon as all booked passengers are boarded or 15 minutes after the end of the perform ance, whichever is the earlier.

The cost per person return will be £4 for each event and should be paid to the driver.
