REACHING RYEDALE in association with LIVE MUSIC NOW

A project running throughout the festival . . .

The Ryedale Festival joins forces with Live Music Now! to mount a project running throughout the festival where we will present around thirty short and informal concerts across the region for people who would not otherwise find it easy to attend festival events.

These will include performances for adults with learning difficulties, mental health problems or physical disabilities and older people in sheltered housing and residential care, including those with Alzheimers and dementia.

The musicians performing are two of the finest ensembles currently working with Live Music Now! - the flute and harp duo Amadio and the violin and piano duo of Kokila Gillett and James Sherlock.

We are looking at performing at the following venues:

In Touch Club, Pickering, In Touch Club, Malton (Visually impaired adults), Camphill Village Trust, Old Malton , Cauwood Day Centre, Malton (Adults with learning difficulties), Next Steps, Malton (Adults with Mental Health Problems), Isabella Court, Pickering (Adults with learning and physical disabilities), Pickering Gateway Club), Wellington House, Malton (Adults with learning difficulties), Abbeyfields Sheltered Housing, Malton, Rivermeade Nursing Home, Malton, The Abbey Residential Home, Old Malton, Rockingham House, Malton, The Hawthorns, Malton, 5 Whitby Road, Pickering, Alba Rose, Pickering, Omega Barn, Nawton, Beechwood Place, Norton, Linwood Court, Thornton Dale, Arden House, Pickering , Ashfield, Malton, The Hall, Thornton Dale, Spring Cottage, Norton.
