We welcome back Eleanor Laugharne, whose performances in last year’s festival were widely praised, alongside mezzo-soprano Martha Jones for songs by some of the great Romantic song composers. The programme includes one of Schumann’s most evocative song collections, which he described as ‘my most Romantic music ever’, as well as delightful duets by Brahms and Mendelssohn.
