The Elias Quartet join forces with Joan Rodgers for an evening of works which were directly inspired by the women in these composers’ lives. Including a string quartet by Janáček (after Tolstoy’s novella), some of the finest songs of Tchaikovsky and the inspiring optimism of Fauré’s great song cycle for voice and piano quintet
