Our Festival Service this year celebrates the bicentenary of Malton Methodist Chapel

Malton Methodist Church is a large Grade II listed chapel built in 1811 - a three-storey ancillary building, which was used as a school.

The chapel has been given a bold restoration which has reinstated a number of lost, damaged or hidden features, especially within the gallery. In addition the alterations and extension has provided a more flexible and manageable space for use by the congregation.
